About Me

Julie Leysen (Belgium, 2004) is a professional dancer, teacher and choreographer with a strong background in contemporary, ballet, jazz and modern. Her movement language is fluid, grounded and emotionally driven, with a strong contemporary base.

I am interested in the moment when movement stops being choreography and starts being truth.

I am constantly seeking new ways to learn, challenge myself and expand my understanding as an artist. I believe growth comes from staying curious, stepping outside of my comfort zone and allowing every experience, person and style to shape my movement and perspective.
